SC Preußen Münster will not play their catch-up match at 1. FC Bocholt until the end of March. This was announced by the regional league leaders.
There was initially a question mark behind SC Preußen Münster’s away game at 1. FC Bocholt at the end of 2022 before the match against the promoted team was cancelled, sending the Eagle Bearers into the winter break a matchday early.
Both the Stadion am Hünting and the Stadion Niederrhein in Oberhausen, the FCB’s planned alternative stadium, were not available at that time. The West German Football Association (WDFV) announced the make-up date for the clash on Monday: On Saturday, 25 March (2pm), the Sportclub will meet the Bocholt side. The match will be played at the Gigaset Arena, the home ground of the promoted 1. FC Bocholt.
SC Preußen Münster, who are eight points ahead of the competition, will start the rest of the season on 5 February (Saturday, 2 pm) with a home match against Alemannia Aachen. This will be followed by matches at Borussia Mönchengladbach, SV Straelen, 1. FC Köln II, SV Lippstadt, SV Rödinghausen, FC Schalke 04 II and finally the catch-up match in Bocholt at the end of March.
