The 20-year-old was born in Ahlen and took his first steps as a footballer at Rot Weiss. “I was very happy to be back at the Wersestadion. Even more people came than I thought. It was a really nice experience,” said Bamba, who moved from Borussia Dortmund’s U23s to Bochum this summer.
From the 3rd division to the Bundesliga? No problem for Bamba. He emphasized: “I definitely have the confidence to take this step, otherwise I wouldn’t have come to Bochum. ”
As VfL coach Peter Zeidler emphasized, Bamba also knows that the first test match was anything but good. “Of course, the coach is not wrong when he says that.
