Türkspor Dortmund has presented another addition for the coming season who brings plenty of experience from the top division.
Things are going well at Türkspor Dortmund. In sporting terms, because as runners-up in the Westfalenliga 2, the promotion is still within reach. And also in terms of planning for the coming season.
Only two days after TSD announced the signing of Alessandro Tomasello, the Dortmund club’s next transfer coup followed: Ibrahim Bulut will join Türkspor in the summer. The 29-year-old currently plays for ASC Dortmund and is recovering from a cruciate ligament rupture.
His future club is visibly proud of the signing: “We are very pleased that this transfer has worked out. With Ibrahim Bulut, a 151-time Oberliga player comes to us in the Fredenbaum,” sporting director Emre Konya is quoted as saying in a club statement. “He will strengthen our already strong squad once again and can become an identification figure in our club.”
Bulut had switched to ASC as captain of TSG Sprockhövel before the current season. For Sprockhövel, the flexible Hagen native played 77 games in the Oberliga Westfalen and scored 16 goals.
In addition, he made 63 appearances in the Niederrhein-Staffel of the Oberliga for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen II, ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen and FC Kray (17 goals). Bulut also gained experience in the third and fourth Turkish leagues.
He played his last game for ASC before his injury at the end of October last year. Bulut wants to return to action in the summer at the latest – with Türkspor.
Besides Tomasello, who comes from RSV Meinerzhagen, Bulut is the second top-class reinforcement. Emir Hajdari, a young talent from the district league team DJK TuS Körne, is also joining the Dortmund team.
