The Rot-Weiß Oberhausen reserve team is well on its way to Kreisliga A. Those responsible are busy planning for the new season. Two new players have been signed. After 20 of 32 games, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen II is six points ahead of Grün-Weiß Holten and eight points ahead of Fortuna Bottrop II. The RWO reserve team is therefore well on its way to achieving its big goal – promotion to Kreisliga A.
While everything is going according to plan on the sporting front, the sporting management team led by sporting director Daniel Schliwa and head coach Günter Abel is already working on the squad for the coming season.
Guliano Daniele Schyske, a promising talent, has joined RWO II. The 19-year-old offensive player is transferring from Fortuna Bottrop’s second team to Lindnerstraße and will strengthen the Red and White team from July 1, 2026. The RWO reserve team had previously announced the signing of Arbili Rozhyar, also 19, who is also transferring from Fortuna Bottrop to Oberhausen.
The name Schyske may well be familiar to some RWO fans: his father, Daniel Schyske, wore the Kleeblätter jersey in the early 2000s, back when the club was still in the Verbandsliga.
His natural abilities are very well developed. With the right tactical development, he will improve step by step. I am delighted to have such a talented young player in our team – he will bring us a lot of joy.
Günter Abel on Guliano Daniele Schyske
Sports director Daniel Schliwa explains: “Guliano caught our eye in the game against Fortuna. We then continued to observe him and gathered several impressions that confirmed our interest. When we found out that his father not only has a history with RWO, but also played under Günter Abel, it was clear to us: we want this young man.”
Schyske, who has scored eleven goals in 17 games this season, is also looking forward to the new challenge: “It’s all new territory for me that a club is trying so hard to sign me. The talks gave me a very good feeling. I’m looking forward to learning a lot of new things here and developing further as an athlete.”
Head coach Günter Abel is also convinced of the new signing: “His natural abilities are very well developed. With the right tactical development, he will improve step by step. I am delighted to have such a talented young player in our team – he will bring us a lot of joy.”
