Next resignation at the regional league club

Another personnel decision has been made at KFC Uerdingen. The Krefeld team must look for a new press spokesman.

Apparently many media representatives are having the same problems getting answers to their questions from the regional league club KFC Uerdingen these days.

Wherever you listen, you always get the same answer. Questions are submitted, they have also been forwarded by press spokesman Kai Murek, but the board is currently refraining from answering.

But it is not said that they do not want to say anything. There is simply no feedback whatsoever – even internally, communication does not seem to be much more meaningful.

As a result, Murek has now resigned from his position, apparently informing the board and administrative board of this decision on Thursday. On the one hand, he justifies this with the time required, as he does the work as a volunteer in addition to a full-time job.

On the other hand, he explains that a press spokesman can only be as good as the rest of the employees. Apparently he was also rarely brought on board, which is why he complains about the fact that those in charge preferred to go directly to selected press representatives instead of using the club’s channels.

Like the example of the announcement of the main sponsor Gangbild GmbH, the company of CEO Thomas Platzer, which was communicated via the media but has not yet been confirmed by the club. The Krefeld team’s chest is still without a name – probably also on Saturday at the league match against Borussia Mönchengladbach’s U23 team.

These days, it is another chapter that shows that the traditional club cannot find a basis from which it can move forward in an orderly manner. How can you convince sponsors to get involved with KFC?

Especially since the club is still facing insolvency. Because several people, some of whom have been waiting for payments from KFC for several months, now have the opportunity to file for third-party insolvency.
