Just one month before the start of the season, Rot-Weiss Essen can look forward to five-digit sales figures for season tickets. Here’s how fans can still get their hands on season tickets.

A year ago, Rot-Weiss Essen sold 11,000 season tickets, a figure that is likely to be surpassed once again in the 2024/25 season. The third-division soccer club has already sold 10,000 season tickets. Between June 11 and 28, existing customers were able to extend their season ticket – and around 10,000 of them made use of this option.

As the Essen club offers a total of 11,907 season tickets, there are not too many left before the start of the second sales phase. Starting on Tuesday (July 2), club members will have the right to pre-sell a total of 2,000 tickets. They can purchase a ticket in RWE’s online store from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. the following day. One ticket can be purchased per person. Season ticket holders are entitled to pre-sale tickets for the match against Champions League participant RB Leipzig in the first round of the DFB Cup (August 17).

If tickets are still available afterwards, they will go on sale. This is scheduled for Thursday (July 4, 10 a.m.) to Friday (July 5, 8 p.m.). Last season, RWE was one of the best-selling third division clubs in terms of season tickets. Only Dynamo Dresden (13,659) and 1860 Munich (11,7000) surpassed the Red & Whites.
