As a result, Nuremberg moved up to twelfth place in the table for the time being.
SC Paderborn only managed a 1:1 (1:0) in their away match against Holstein Kiel. The draw prevented coach Lukas Kwasniok’s team from jumping into the relegation zone and they remain in fourth place. 1. FC Kaiserslautern beat Spielvereinigung Greuther Fürth 3:1 (1:0). The visitors were down to ten players after a yellow card in the 29th minute. Kaiserslautern are one point behind Paderborn in fifth place.
