Oberhausen practice organises fundraiser – Schalke pros take part

On 9 May, the physiotherapy practice “Physio im Pott” in Oberhausen is hosting a fundraising event. The proceeds will go to the children’s hospice in Oberhausen.

Next Tuesday, 9 May 2023, a fundraising gala will take place at the Oberhausen practice for physiotherapy “Physio im Pott” in Falkensteinstraße 295. At the event, the proceeds of the whole day will be donated to the children’s hospice Oberhausen.

From 9 am to 6 pm, the practice team will offer treatments, personal training sessions and cold chamber applications. At the end, patients can decide for themselves how much the treatment is worth to them and donate any amount. In order to ensure good organisation, the practice asks that you book an appointment for a treatment.

For practice owner Lucas Brall, the fundraising gala is a matter of the heart: “We organise a charity event twice a year, the next one is to take place during the Christmas season. The main thing for us is to put a smile on the children’s faces and do something good for them and their relatives.”

The campaign is also a way of showing appreciation for the work done at the children’s hospice in Oberhausen. The facility offers comprehensive support and guidance to families with seriously ill children and young people. The hospice relies on donations in order to continue their important work and to be able to help the families affected.

The practice “Physio im Pott”, which treats some professional footballers such as Leo Greiml, Thomas Ouwejan (both FC Schalke 04) or Sead Kolasinac (Olympique Marseille), will also receive celebrity support on the day of the fundraiser: some professionals from S04 and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen will be on site at the event.

In addition to the fundraising gala, there will also be a raffle with prizes such as signed football jerseys. Food and drink will also be provided.
