The fourth attempt finally worked: Gary Hunt celebrated his first win of the season in cliff diving from the roof of the Opera House in Oslo.
The 38-year-old Frenchman cut the best figure in all four jumps from a height of 30 metres. For him, it was already the ninth success in Oslo at the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in front of 55,000 spectators.
Italian Alessandro De Rose came second, ahead of British shooting star Aidan Heslop. The Oslo jump platform is the longest in the World Series. A great deal of effort was put into the temporary installation.
