FC Bayern München has the best chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the Football Champions League. In the first leg of the round of 16 at Paris Saint Germain, the German record champions won 1-0.
The goal of the evening at the Prinzenparkstadion was scored by French international and native of the capital city Kingsley Coman in the 53rd minute. The attacking player, who used to play for PSG, did not celebrate the goal. However, after the substitution of French superstar Kylian Mbappé shortly afterwards, the Munich team still had to fear for the away victory. Nevertheless, coach Julian Nagelsmann was satisfied with the performance of his team.
Good control in the game. Threw everything in and fought back as a team at the end. Nothing achieved yet. We’ll keep working in the same way and see you in front of our fans in the second leg. MiaSanMia @FCBayern pic.twitter.com/4OWU4HlKu1

PSG coach Christophe Galtier also explained the home defeat with the long injury list in his team: "I hope that in three weeks we are physically fit again, that we have some players back and that we can make important changes without the team getting into trouble. And after that we have a game to play. If we are able to play like we did in the last 25 to 30 minutes, we can hope to beat Bayern."
In the second match of the evening, AC Milan also narrowly won 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur, with Spaniard Brahim Diaz scoring the goal in the seventh minute in an otherwise uneventful match.
