Fortuna Düsseldorf’s former club boss Thomas Röttgermann is returning home to become a member of the supervisory board at Preußen Münster.
This was announced by the fourth-division football club on Monday. The 61-year-old from Münster had started his career as an official at the end of the 1980s at the then second-division club Preußen. He later worked in marketing for Borussia Mönchengladbach. After a stint at sports rights trader Ufa Sports – later Sportfive – he became managing director at VfL Wolfsburg and in 2019 CEO at Fortuna Düsseldorf, where he left this year.
