SC Paderborn: U21 signs shooting star and three more new players

SC Paderborn has signed four players for its U21 team from the Oberliga Westfalen. Among them is a high-flyer from the pre-season.

Two and a half weeks before the start of the new season in the Oberliga Westfalen, SC Paderborn have announced four new signings for their U21 team. They are Dino Nuhanovic (18, VfL Wolfsburg U19), Jason Tomety-Hemazro (21, FC Oberneuland), Mustafa Dogan (26, SV Lippstadt) and Dilhan Demir (19, TSG Sprockhövel).

With left-back Tomety-Hemazro and midfielder Dogan, there are two players who were last on the road in the Regionalliga. Junior striker Nuhanovic scored five times for the Wolfsburg U19s in the Junior Bundesliga last season. And attacker Demir is the shooting star of last year’s Oberliga season.

At the end of last year he made his debut for Sprockhövel and immediately secured his place in the starting eleven. At the start of the relegation round, Demir discovered goal-scoring for himself: in ten appearances, he scored eight goals.

Now the offensive power wants to take the next step at SCP, which almost made it into the Regionalliga in the pre-season. On the very first matchday of the new season (14 August), the Paderborn side will welcome Westfalia Rhynern in a duel of almost promoted teams.
