The clubs of the 3rd division continue to tinker with their squads. 1860 Munich have made another new addition, while SC Verl have extended their contract with a regular player.
At 1860 Munich, things are going one step at a time. One day after the transfer of Valmir Sulejmani, who has first league experience, the third division rivals of MSV Duisburg and Rot-Weiss Essen have strengthened their squad once again.
Morris Schröter is moving to the Bavarian capital. The attacking midfielder comes from Hansa Rostock. 1860 will have to pay a transfer fee for the 27-year-old, but the two clubs have agreed not to disclose the details.
Schröter was under contract with Rostock last season and previously played for Dynamo Dresden, FSV Zwickau and 1. FC Magdeburg. He brings the experience of 151 Drittliga games and 51 matches in the 2. Bundesliga with him to Munich.
“I am very happy to be with the Löwen and now get to know the club and the city,” he is quoted as saying by his new club about the move. “I want to contribute in sporting terms so that we all have a successful time together with TSV 1860 Munich.”
Otto remains with SC Verl
While the “Löwen” thus welcome their tenth new arrival, SC Verl have also tied up another personnel matter. Yari Otto, an attacker who made regular appearances last season, has extended his contract.
The 24-year-old played 30 games in the Third Division and scored six goals. Otto also set up three other goals. “I am very pleased that Yari is staying with us,” says sporting director Sebastian Lange about the former German junior international, who came to Poststraße from Eintracht Braunschweig a year ago.
Lange continues: “Yari has already proven his abilities in the past and played a decisive role in keeping us in the league last season. He is extremely flexible offensively, with conviction and full commitment, and can thus carry the team along. His experience will also help us. “
