Sportclub Verl has already lost three key players this summer transfer window. Now the third division club has signed a new number one.
Sportclub Verl only announced at the start of the week that current number one Luca Unbehaun would be leaving Poststrasse. The former Dortmund player’s new destination is still unknown.
A few hours later, the East Westphalians announced the signing of Unbehaun’s successor: Philipp Schulze is on loan from Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg.

“Philipp is an exceptional goalkeeper. He has a strong charisma, shows excellent presence and is a vocal coach. He combines many attributes that we value and need for our game. We are very pleased that the loan has worked out,” says SCV sporting director Sebastian Lange.
