In the home match at the Parkstadion, Edion Gashi (43rd) shot the Schalkers into the lead shortly before half-time. U17-Bundesliga: BVB lose in Bielefeld

Schalke, meanwhile, extended their lead at the top from three to six points. Borussia Dortmund, the first team to follow, surprisingly lost at Arminia Bielefeld. BVB lost 2:3 against DSC, who have been strong this season.

Gökdeniz Gürpüz had given Dortmund the lead in the 21st minute. But Tom Krüger (48th) and Henrik Koch (65th) turned the game around in the second half. And it got hectic in the final phase: First Almugera Kabar equalised for BVB (83rd). But Bielefeld had another arrow in their quiver and landed the lucky punch through Moussa Soumah (87th).
