The first matchday of the 3. Liga has been scheduled precisely. This is how the kick-off times change.
The DFB has scheduled the first matchday of the 3rd league with exact times. And Rot-Weiss Essen will open the season on 4 August (7 pm) with a visit to Halleschen FC.
Noticeable: In the 3rd Division there are now many different kick-off times. A new feature of the coming season.
On Sunday (6 August), when MSV Duisburg start the season at SC Freiburg II, the games will kick off at different times.
These games will be broadcast on free-TV on the first matchday:
Dynamo Dresden vs. Arminia Bielefeld (ARD)
TSV 1860 München vs. SV Waldhof Mannheim (BR / SWR)
About the regular matchday: There will be no more Monday matches in the 3. Liga from now on. One match will be played on Friday (7 pm). Five matches on Saturday (2pm), one match on Saturday (4:30pm), plus three matches on Sunday (1:30pm, 4:30pm, 7:30pm).
Exceptions: Match days during the week, here five games take place on Tuesday and five on Wednesday (always 7 pm). The last matchday of the season will kick off on Saturday.
