Dortmund goalkeeper Sébastien Haller, who has testicular cancer, says he has come through his second operation well.
The 28-year-old wrote this on social media on Thursday. In his post, the attacker thanked the medical staff. In a photo posted on Twitter, Haller can be seen smiling in his hospital bed and has spread two fingers of his right hand in the Victory sign.
Earlier, Haller had said the new surgery was necessary to finally remove the tumour that was keeping him off the pitch. It remains to be seen when the Ivorian international will be able to return to the pitch. BVB signed Haller this summer from Ajax Amsterdam for a BVB record sum of more than 30 million euros. During the pre-season, the former Frankfurt player was then diagnosed with a testicular tumour.
