The S04 fan club “Sportfreunde Kurpfalz 04” is inviting fans to a fan festival before the away game at TSG Hoffenheim. They expect up to 12,000 Schalke fans in Sinsheim.

FC Schalke 04 will play at TSG Hoffenheim on Sunday evening (7.30 pm). At least 10,000 Schalke fans are expected to attend the eminently important match for the Königsblauen in Sinsheim.

The S04 fan club Sportfreunde Kurpfalz 04, which is based only a few kilometres away from the stadium, even expects up to 12,000 Schalke fans at the TSG stadium. Before the match, they have invited fans to a fan party with Schalke music, beer and a barbecue at the sports ground in Waibstadt (ten kilometres from the stadium) from 12.04 pm. “We have done this js a few times before. But this time – in keeping with the occasion – everything is a bit bigger,” says Johannes Günther of the fan club, looking forward to many guests. “Among others, Trumpet Willy is said to have announced his coming.”

The fan club’s ticket representative had his work cut out for him before the game. “We were able to get 57 tickets through Schalke. But we alone will be in the stadium with a total of 145 fan club members,” said Günther.

He finds it difficult that TSG will not allow Schalke supporters to enter blocks O, P, Q, R, S1, S2, T, U and V wearing guest fan clothing. “The access ban is ridiculous with 12,000 Schalke fans. You can’t enforce that at all. Then the stadium is half empty. But I know through acquaintances that the security forces have been increased enormously for this match. And rumour has it that a number of TSG online accounts with the password “04” have been set up for advance sales for this game. “
