Shock with a happy ending for Jürgen Klopp: the Liverpool FC team manager lost his wedding ring while celebrating after the 4:2 (0:0) victory against Newcastle United. After the final whistle, the 56-year-old ran around the Anfield Road pitch looking for it before a cameraman handed it back to him. “I was a bit too lively,” said Klopp: ”I had a huge shock. But it’s back.”

The cameraman had “annoyed him a few times this season, but now he has a lot of shots free because it was really important,” said the German coach. He has now found a “friend for life”. Klopp had married his wife Ulla in 2005 and was now missing his wedding ring for the second time.

“I lost it once, and I needed a professional diver because I lost it in the sea,” said the successful coach: ‘That happens from time to time when I lose a kilo or two. ’
