Six Nations Tournament: Ireland on the verge of overall victory

Ireland are on the brink of overall victory in the Six Nations Rugby Tournament. Their 22-7 win over Scotland was their fourth win in their fourth match.

France impressed at London’s Twickenham Stadium, outclassing hosts England 53-10.

French national coach Fabien Galthié said, “I told the players before the game that this stadium rewards bravery. It rewards teams who sacrifice themselves together. This stadium rewards that kind of team. And today we were like that. We were a brave, gritty, determined, conquering team and they knew what they were there for.”

Wales beat Italy 29-17 in the basement duel and if Ireland win against England next Saturday on the final matchday, the team from the Emerald Isle will have secured their first aggregate victory since 2018.
