That’s how many kilometers RWE will have to cover in the 2024/2025 season

Rot-Weiss Essen will have to travel over 6000 kilometers on German freeways in the upcoming 3rd division season. An overview.

Clubs such as SSV Ulm and SSV Jahn Regensburg have left the 3rd division. Good news for the Rot-Weiss Essen team bus: two very long away trips are no longer necessary.

Meanwhile, RWE and its fans would have loved to travel to SC Preußen Münster again. However, this will not be the case for the time being after the promotion of the eagle bearers.

Looking at the relegated teams, RWE will no longer have to travel to VfB Lübeck, Hallescher FC and, above all, to SC Freiburg II in the far-flung Breisgau region. As in the case of Münster, however, the popular short trip to MSV will no longer be necessary following Duisburg’s relegation.

The new Essen travel routes are quite a challenge in terms of mileage. Rot-Weiss Essen will soon be traveling to FC Hansa Rostock, VfL Osnabrück, SV Wehen Wiesbaden, VfB Stuttgart II, Hannover 96 II, Energie Cottbus and Alemannia Aachen.

First of all: The RWE team bus will cover around 13,500 kilometers – round trip – for the 2024/2025 season.
