The goal is clear—to reach the regional league without dropping any points

It’s going to be tough for the Westfalenliga competition: the S04 women have big ambitions for the second half of the season. Jule Dallmann: “We want a perfect season!”

The 100th goal of the season for the Schalke women’s soccer team was particularly beautiful in their 6-0 (2-0) win over Billerbeck in the Westfalenliga. In the last championship game before the winter break, Jule Dallmann cleverly pulled the ball back with her heel at the edge of the penalty area, looked up briefly, and then hammered the ball into the left corner.

For Boris Liebing, who is responsible for women’s soccer at Schalke, Jule Dallmann’s special goal came as no surprise. Liebing attests that the midfielder, who has been out with injury for a long time, “also has qualities as a goal scorer.”

Jule Dallmann was delighted with her goal, but remained true to her role as a modest, down-to-earth player. “I was out for a long time and couldn’t contribute too much to the goals,” said the 27-year-old, adding: “In Mandy Islacker, we have a player who has contributed what feels like half of the goals to this tally. Mandy is a goal machine. She scores 50 goals per season on her own. But of course, I’m happy for the team as a whole that we’ve broken the 100-goal mark.”

Schalke women aiming for a perfect season after a strong first half

Schalke’s women have set new standards this season, winning 13 games. In addition, there were two walkover victories against Germania Hauenhorst and SV Oesbern. Both teams did not play against the Royal Blues for personnel reasons. “We train all week for the games at the weekend, so it’s annoying when games are canceled,” says the sister of national player Linda Dallmann about the unfortunate breaks in October and November.

Jule Dallmann: “That would be something special”

For the second half of the season, which doesn’t start in the Women’s Westfalenliga until mid-March 2026, Bundesliga veteran Jule Dallmann has already announced: “Our goal is to win all the championship games. We want to play a perfect season. That would be something special. But of course we also know how difficult that is. We’ll see if it works out.“

Schalke’s Jule Dallmann is convinced: Competitive even in higher leagues Given Schalke’s huge lead over the first non-promotion spot, there is no way around their jump to the regional league. ”We have a very good quality team. I am convinced that we would also be absolutely competitive in a higher league,“ says Jule Dallmann, who has picked up speed again after her muscle tear and is therefore going into the winter break with a tear in her eye: ”For me, the break comes at a bit of an inconvenient time. That makes me all the more excited for the second half of the season, when I’ll be fully fit again and ready to really go for it.”
