The Oberliga Westfalen is already in a scoring mood again in the first half of the season. An overview of the best attacking duos in the league.
488 goals have been scored in the Oberliga Westfalen so far. Sportfreunde Lotte have scored the majority of them. With 55 goals, the leaders not only have the most dangerous offense in the league – they also occupy a top position in the Forecasting Top 100. According to the coefficient, Sportfreunde have the fourth-best attacking line of all RS teams with a value of 14.559. The leaders in this statistic are the Regionalliga women of VfL Bochum.
The two Lotte attackers Marc Heider and Halil Can Dogan were the main contributors to this result. Together, they have scored 21 goals this season and have also assisted eleven. This makes them not only the most dangerous strikers within the club, but also in the league. However, there are other duos who consistently score goals for their clubs.
Such as Maximilian Podehl and player-coach Marco Stiepermann at ASC 09 Dortmund. The two have scored 17 goals between them so far. Without the duo, Aplerbeck would certainly not be doing so well this season. Without these 17 goals, ASC 09 would have scored just nine. It was not without reason that Samir Habibovic, Dortmund’s sporting director, had hoped that one or two players would show their attacking strength in the second half of the season. Being too dependent on this duo would only be detrimental to long-term success.
