The new single-track Kreisliga A of the Gelsenkirchen soccer district is taking shape. Only two starting places have not yet been allocated.
The new single-track Kreisliga A in Gelsenkirchen continues to take shape. After the last matchday of the 2023/2024 season, 16 of the 18 teams for the top flight of District 12 (Gelsenkirchen, Gladbeck and Kirchhellen) are already confirmed.
First of all, these are the two teams relegated from Kreis 12, with SSV Buer II and Viktoria Resse also failing to save themselves in the season finale of Bezirksliga-Staffel 9.
BV Rentfort III and Teutonia Schalke will also be promoted to Kreisliga A from Kreisliga B1 and B2.
The second to seventh-placed teams in the A1 and A2 leagues also qualified.
In A1, VfL Grafenwald, Westfalia 04 Gelsenkirchen, Eintracht Erle, SuS Beckhausen 05, Schwarz-Gelb Preußen Gladbeck and SV Horst-Emscher 08 II have qualified.
DJK Adler Feldmark, DJK TuS Rotthausen, FC Glückauf-Hüllen, SpVgg Middelich-Resse, SSV/FCA Rotthausen and SV Horst-Emscher 08 III have made it into the A2.
Furthermore, an A-league team will be determined in the deciding match between the eighth-placed teams in the A1 and A2 leagues, in which Adler Ellinghorst and VfL Resse will meet.
Should the champions of the A1 (VfB Kirchhellen) and A2 (Sportfreunde Bulmke) both be promoted to the district league, the runners-up of the B leagues (FC Horst 59 and FC Zrinski) will play a deciding match to determine a further promoted team in the A league.
If there is only one promoted team in the district league, the losing champion (VfB Kirchhellen or Sportfreunde Bulmke) will complete the field of the single-track Kreisliga A.
