TuS Bövinghausen has big plans for the coming season and is planning its squad accordingly. One striker has been confirmed, two other attackers are being discussed.
The talks with these two top strikers prove why TuS Bövinghausen is not mourning the departure of Elmin Heric (14 goals in the season, moving to TuS Erndtebrück, editor’s note) and Kaniwar Uzun (19 goals, destination unknown).
As TCN has learned, the Dortmund Oberliga club is negotiating with Marco Königs (Wuppertaler SV) and Christopher Kramer (Weiche Flensburg). Königs (33) made 16 appearances for WSV last season and played a total of 190 third league games (39 goals) and 28 (no goals) appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga in his career. He also made 142 appearances (38) in the Regionalliga.
The CV of Kramer, who is also 33 years old, is also impressive. The former WSV striker scored twelve goals in 31 appearances for Flensburg in the last series. In total, Kramer can look back on 278 appearances in the Regionalliga, in which he scored a whopping 114 goals.
“We want to have real quality at this position in attack. With Kramer or Königs, we would have exactly the quality we are looking for in this position. These are players who are strong with their backs to goal, who have a lot of power in the box. That’s the kind of man we’re looking for. Both players are absolute top players for the Oberliga. Even though Marco Königs didn’t get much playing time in Wuppertal this season, we know about his great quality. He never grumbled when he was out, he is an absolute team player,” Christian Knappmann explained to TCN.
Both are still hot for football and would fit super into our team. We’ll have to see how this plays out in the end
Knappmann on Königs and Kramer
The head coach of TuS Bövinghausen adds: “Kramer is still a goal machine in Flensburg. He scored in double figures in the first half of the season and only moved into the second tier after the coaching change. He is a tidy boy and very ambitious. Both are still hot for football and would fit super into our team. We’ll have to see how this plays out in the end.” Knappmann also emphasises: “In the end, we will only sign one of these two players.”
Keyword commitment: According to RS information, Königs or Kramer will have another fellow striker in Luis Ortmann in the new season. The 21-year-old is transferring from SV Lippstadt to TuS Bövinghausen and is to be officially introduced to the highly ambitious premier league team from Dortmund at the weekend.
