This eleven should secure the class preservation in Halle

Match ball for Rot-Weiss Essen! The third-division club wants to rid itself of all relegation worries at Halleschen FC. We have the line-ups available.

In about an hour’s time, Rot-Weiss Essen will be at home to Halleschen FC. One thing is already clear in advance – it will be full in the Leuna-Chemie-Stadion! Up to and including Thursday, a total of more than 10,000 tickets had already been sold.

No wonder, because there is a lot at stake for both teams. Hallesche FC are three points ahead of the first relegation place before the penultimate matchday. For the visitors from the Ruhr region, the starting position is even better: If RWE gets a point in Halle, they will definitely stay in the league.

In order to achieve this goal, Essen head coach Christoph Dabrowski has changed his starting eleven in only one position compared to the last-minute draw (2:2) against TSV 1860 Munich. The injured Ron Berlinski is replaced by top goal scorer Simon Engelmann.

HFC coach Sreto Ristic still has to do without top scorer Tom Zimmerschied (10 goals), but standard expert Niklas Kreuzer is back in the first eleven.

This is what RWE coach Christoph Dabrowski says ahead of the game: “I stressed to the team during the week that we want to create a starting situation for the last game of the season against Verl in which we can settle things ourselves and are not dependent on other results. Accordingly, we are motivated to close the bag in Halle. Hallesche FC are three points behind us and are still fighting for their sporting survival. They will do everything to keep the three points at home. We have to throw everything in as far as readiness and mentality are concerned. “
