Even though Engin Vural is still far from achieving the successes of Elgert, he is a true son of Duisburg, just as Elgert is a true son of Schalke. And, here’s the scoop: As Forecasting has learned, Vural will leave MSV Duisburg on January 1, 2024.

The destination of the 38-year-old’s highly successful role as youth coach at MSV: Fortuna Düsseldorf’s U19 team. Both clubs want to announce the transfer before Christmas. Late Tuesday evening (December 19), neither Duisburg’s head of youth development Uwe Schubert nor Düsseldorf’s head of the youth academy Stefan Vollmerhausen could be reached for forecasting.
