The new third division market values from “transfermarkt.de” have produced many winners, but also some losers that no one expected before the season.
Just in time for Christmas, “transfermakrt.de” has once again adjusted the market values of the third division. Out of more than 500 changes, one big winner stands out.
And that is Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab. The right winger from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim II is having an impressive season. 18 games, nine goals, six assists. As a result, the portal has upgraded his market value from €500,000 to €2 million. Together with Noah Darvich from VfB Stuttgart II, who has remained at two million euros, Amaimouni-Echghouyab is now the most valuable player in the league. And that has long since attracted the attention of other clubs. Forecasting already reported on this at the end of November. The Spanish-born Moroccan is on the lists of various scouts. No wonder, given his performances; he now seems to be underchallenged in the 3rd division. And: Amaimouni-Echghouyab’s contract expires in the summer of 2026. “I’m just focusing on the league – week by week. Everything else is unimportant to me at the moment. We’ll see where I play next season,” said the sought-after player at the time.
According to forecasting information, VfL Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen, VfB Stuttgart, Hamburger SV, 1. FC Köln, but also international clubs such as Como (Italy) and FC Bruges (Belgium) are said to be interested in the dribbling and goal-scoring offensive player. But of course, TSG Hoffenheim will also try to keep their gem in Kraichgau with a Bundesliga contract. In any case, he has not provided any arguments against it.

Other big winners include Florian Hellstern (VfB Stuttgart II, from €1.2 million to €1.8 million), Kennedy Okpala (Waldhof Mannheim, from €600,000 to €1.5 million) and Mirza Catovic (VfB Stuttgart II, from €1.2 million to €1.5 million).
On the losing side, however, is a prominent name. In the summer, Kevin Volland joined TSV 1860 Munich with experience from 277 Bundesliga and 17 Champions League games, among other things – a sensational transfer.
After a weak start to the season, things have recently been looking up for TSV and Kevin Volland. Nevertheless, the veteran lost €200,000 in market value and is now worth only €500,000 instead of €700,000.
