Two games were scheduled in the 3rd division on Sunday. SC Verl beat Erzgebirge Aue, FC Ingolstadt beat VfB Oldenburg.

FC Ingolstadt climbed to third place in the 3rd Football League. The Schanzers won 3:0 (2:0) against VfB Oldenburg. Pascal Testroet (9th), David Kopacz (22nd) and Marcel Costly (50th) scored for the visitors, who are, however, six and four points behind the direct promotion places respectively. Oldenburg are in the lower midfield.

SC Verl remained undefeated for the sixth league match in a row and secured a mid-table position with a 3-2 (2-1) win over Erzgebirge Aue. Aue are second to last. Marvin Stefaniak (4th) gave the visitors the lead, Verl turned the game around with goals from Mael Corboz (9th), Cyrill Akono (16th) and Yari Otto (70th). Erik Majetschak was shown a yellow card for repeated foul play (68th). Boris Taschtschy (82nd) reduced the score once again in the final phase.
