Max Verstappen continued his impressive winning streak in Formula 1 in Hungary. The Dutchman won the eleventh round of the season at the Hungaroring ahead of Briton Lando Norris in the McLaren. Third place went to Verstappen’s Red Bull colleague Sergio Pérez. Verstappen’s ninth success of the year was also the twelfth consecutive victory for his Red Bull team. The racing team thus surpassed McLaren’s Formula 1 best mark from 1988.
In the overall standings, Verstappen extended his lead over Pérez to 110 points. In the constructors’ standings, Verstappen’s racing team now has more than twice as many points as second-placed Mercedes, followed by Aston Martin and Ferrari.
