After eleven match days, a leading group has emerged in Landesliga Group 2 in the Lower Rhine region.
Six points separate VfB Bottrop and DJK Sportfreunde Katernberg: that is the gap between the league leaders and the sixth-placed team in the Lower Rhine Regional League Group 2.
This is how the 11th match day went: VfB Bottrop won 4-3 against Sportfreunde Hamborn 07 at their home stadium, Jahnstadion. In front of 100 spectators, Ahmed Jemaiel, Enes Bilgin, and Raphael Steinmetz (2) scored for Bottrop.
Meanwhile, ESC Rellinghausen, VfB’s closest rival, lost 1-0 to Viktoria Goch in the top match. Maximilian Fuchs (88th minute) scored the goal of the day at Essen’s Krausen Bäumchen.
SV Budberg, third in the table, drew 1-1 with PSV Wesel-Lackhausen. Meanwhile, SV Scherpenberg continues to march forward.
