Why Manuel Riemann must not return to VfL Bochum

How is Peter Zeidler doing at VfL Bochum? What’s next for Manuel Riemann? We talk about this in the new VfL Talk.

VfL Bochum are making plans for the future one week after securing relegation. Peter Zeidler was introduced as the new coach on Monday, and now the squad for the coming season is being planned. Enough to talk about for a new episode of our “Stadtwerke-Bochum-VfL-Talk anne Castroper” by WAZ and Radio Bochum.

The two VfL reporters Ralf Ritter and Stefan Döring talk to presenter Annalena Fedtke about what to make of Peter Zeidler, how things will continue with Manuel Riemann and what the squad could look like in the new season in our new episode of “Stadtwerke-Bochum-VfL-Talk anne Castroper” from WAZ and Radio Bochum.

Our reporters have a clear opinion, especially when it comes to Riemann. “I’m sticking to my guns, and even if things change in five weeks’ time, I’m sticking to them. There can be no going back to the VfL Bochum dressing room for Manuel Riemann,” said WAZ reporter Ralf Ritter. Stefan Döring also shares this opinion. Both reporters give an insight into what has happened around the keeper in terms of his release – and clear up a rumor.

As a result, Döring and Ritter also talk about possible successors. Stefan Döring brings Daniel Heuer Fernandes into play. “He comes from here, he comes from VfL Bochum,” he says. Ritter is firm: “There has to be a goalkeeper as a clear number one.” The three also talk about further squad plans and the departure of Kevin Stöger, whose contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach was officially unveiled on Tuesday, as well as the chances of signing Keven Schlotterbeck.

The new Talk episode also focuses on the new coach Peter Zeidler. The two reporters report on their first impressions and describe how he conducted himself after the official press conference.
