MSV Duisburg will hold its winter training camp in Belek, Turkey, in preparation for the second half of the third division season. The club announced this on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the Zebras will depart for Turkey on January 3, 2026. The MSV will hold training sessions at the Titanic Football Center, and two test matches are also being planned. However, the opponents have not yet been determined. On January 10, 2026, the team will fly back to Duisburg. Just eight days later, the first match of the second half of the season in the third division is already scheduled. On Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., Duisburg will be guests in Großaspach, where they will face VfB Stuttgart’s second team. For their first home game of the new year, MSV will then host SSV Jahn Regensburg on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
But before the third division leaders head into the winter break and then the second half of the season, they still have five league games to play before the end of the calendar year. On Friday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m., MSV Duisburg will face TSG Hoffenheim’s second team away from home after the international break.
Around 750 MSV fans have already secured tickets for the away game against the seventh-placed team. Advance sales at the Zebra Shop in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena will continue until Wednesday, November 19, at 3 p.m. According to the club, however, there will still be a box office at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion on the day of the game for last-minute buyers. After the Hoffenheim game, there will be a West German derby against Alemannia Aachen. The match will take place on Saturday, November 29, at 2 p.m. at the Wedaustadion in Duisburg.
And with over 26,000 tickets sold, the Zebras have now reached their next milestone. A sold-out Wedaustadion is within reach. The fans are obviously excited about the traditional clash with Alemannia.
