The rights holder of the 3rd division, “Magenta Sport TV”, has put together the first-round eleven for the 2022/2023 season – including an RWE and MSV player.
Just like the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, the 3rd League is in the winter break. Third division TV rights holder “Magenta Sport” has used the time to select a third division team of the first half of the season.
This team consists of three players from the league leaders and sensational promoted team Spielvereinigung Elversberg. Defender Maurice Neubauer, winger Jannik Rochelt and goal scorer Luca Schnellbacher represent the league leaders in the first-round squad.
Three players from North Rhine-Westphalia are also in the squad. Namely Viktoria Köln’s Patrick Koronkiewicz, who is one of the best right-backs in the league. In addition, Essen’s Felix Bastians, whom “Magenta Sport” has ordered into midfield in its first-half eleven, and MSV captain Moritz Stoppelkamp have also made it into the half-season eleven.
The formation is completed by goalkeeper Daniel Batz (1. FC Saarbücken), defenders Calvon Brackelmann (FC Ingolstadt), Leandro Morgalla (SV 1860 München) – who is being watched by Bundesliga clubs – as well as midfielder Richard Neudecker (1. FC Saarbrücken) and 1860 München striker Fynn Lakenmacher.
