MSV Duisburg visit Dynamo Dresden on Wednesday evening. Six Zebras are not fit for the match.
Head coach Torsten Ziegner will get two important players back for MSV Duisburg’s difficult away match at Dynamo Dresden on Wednesday evening (7pm). Captain Moritz Stoppelkamp and midfield gem Caspar Jander are ready for action again. Top scorer Stoppelkamp has overcome his infection, Jander has served his yellow ban.
But there is not only good news for Ziegner in terms of personnel. With Niclas Stierlin (eye), Marvin Knoll (thigh), Sebastian Mai (calf) and Leroy Kwadwo (muscular problems), four professional players were unavailable for the match in the Saxon capital.
In the meantime, it has become clear that they will not be able to make the trip to Dresden – apart from the defender Mai, who did not want to miss the duel against his hometown club as a spectator.
With Jonas Michelbrink, there is another short-term absentee. The young midfielder is suffering from a rib injury, but has had a hard time lately anyway. It was already clear that right-back Rolf Feltscher would have to miss out with a ligament injury.
