Wuppertaler SV will play host to 1. FC Bocholt on Saturday (2 pm). The WSV fans are already excited about the performance at the Hünting.
Wuppertaler SV cannot be satisfied after three games and four points. On Saturday, the red and blue team wants to start a winning streak with a victory at the still pointless 1st FC Bocholt, who dismissed their promotion coach at the beginning of the week. Up to 500 WSV fans also want to help the team.
The Bergisch Ultra group in particular is eager to make the trip to the Hünting in Bocholt. “Hello WSV fans, on Saturday our sports club will travel to Bocholt. A club that has always been known for its unique hospitality. For this reason, we want to return the favour to the hosts and call on all WSV fans to bring everything that flashes, smokes or makes noise, so that together we can make the guest block burn and additionally fire up our team.” With this call, the “Ultras Wuppertal 2001” are encouraging a forbidden “pyro show” at the Hünting.
It remains to be seen what will become of this plan. The Bocholt authorities had already announced early on that there would be strict controls and that the burning of pyrotechnics was strictly forbidden.
The information from Bocholt to the WSV fans is:
– There will be no box office for guest fans. WSV supporters can only purchase tickets directly through Wuppertaler SV. The contingent is limited to 500 tickets.
– The entrance for fans from Wuppertal with tickets for Block F will be exclusively via the separate guest entrance at Hemdener Weg 165 (DJK TuS Stenern/TSV Bocholt), where the guest car park “P3 Gast” is also located. The guest area accessible from there has separate drinks and food sales as well as toilet facilities.
– The club also emphasises that the burning of pyrotechnics and fire pots in the Gigaset Arena Am Hünting is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the police immediately and sanctioned with a stadium ban, regardless of the fan group involved.
