SG Wattenscheid 09, relegated from the Regionalliga, remains without a point in the current season of the Oberliga Westfalen. Head coach Christian Britscho’s team lost 2-1 (1-0) to ASC 09 Dortmund on the third matchday.
Although Wattenscheid coach Britscho saw an improvement in his team’s performance compared to the 1-0 defeat against Vreden last matchday, the SGW was again unable to score despite leading at half-time. Felix Casalino (44th) gave Wattenscheid the lead shortly before the change of ends.
