Klosterhardt and Remscheid at the top, draw in Essen derby

After the 4:5 against Solingen the previous week, Adler Union Frintrop had another goal spectacle to watch against BW Mintard, and this time the promoted team kept the upper hand with five goals. And that at the previous league leader Mintard.

After the 4th matchday and the defeat of Mintard, the new league leader is now FC Remscheid. Already in the first half, the visitors set the course for victory at Oberliga relegated Sportfreunde Niederwenigern. Besides double-pointer Patrick Posavec (2nd, 39th), Francesco Leonardo Di Donato (37th) scored for Remscheid in the 3:0 victory. The third win in the fourth match for the leaders.

The Essen derby between SpVgg Steele and ESC Rellinghausen at Steeler Straße ended in a 1-1 draw. In the first half, Simon Meister (32nd) put the home side in the lead, but after the change of ends, substitute Giuseppe Raudino equalised from the penalty spot (77th).

SC Velbert won 1:0 against DV Solingen, while 1. FC Wülfrath remain bottom of the table with no points after their home match against Reusrath (0:2). FSV Vohwinkel earned their first point with a 3-3 draw against VfB Frohnhausen. On Saturday, TUSEM Essen lost 1:4 (0:3) against SV Wermelskirchen.

Landesliga Niederrhein 2:

In Group 2, the top of the table now belongs to Arminia Klosterhardt alone. The Oberhausen side beat DJK SF Lowick 2-0 (0-0) and remain unbeaten. Juliano Ismanovski (47th) and Deniz Erdem (86th) scored the goals for the Arminen.

At SV Genc Osman Duisburg, the 110 spectators saw ten goals, with the better end for the guests from SV Scherpenberg. In the end, Genc Osman were beaten 4:6 (1:3). Tevfik Kücükarslan and Samet Sadiklar scored for the home side, while Valdet Totaj, Nico Frömmgen, Nico Klotz, Darius Strode, Ole Egging and Maximilian Stellmach were successful for the new runners-up Schermbeck.

Spvgg. Sterkrade-Nord and VfB Bottrop drew 2-2. An own goal gave Sterkrade the lead before Devin Müller and Alpay Cin turned the game around for the visitors from Bottrop. Dennis Charlier, who came on as a substitute in the 80th minute, equalised shortly before the end. Sterkrade remains unbeaten. BW Dingden is the third unbeaten team, but the 0-0 draw with Fichte Lintfort is already the third draw.

Bottom team PSV Wesel-Lackhausen scored their first points of the season with a 2-1 win over Sportfreunde Broekhuysen, while Hönnepel-Niedermörmter defeated Mülheimer FC (3-1). SGE Bedburg-Hau won against second-last Wachtendonk-Wankum (1-0) for the second time this season.
