Portuguese Clubs Eyeing the Next Third-Division Pro – This Club Rejects an Attractive Offer

In Portugal, Germany’s third division is being closely watched. The next transfers from the third division to Portugal are on the horizon.

Sidny Lopes Cabral’s move in the summer of 2025 from FC Viktoria Köln to Estrela Amadora was likely just the beginning. Since then, the Portuguese have been poaching players from the German third division. No wonder.

Lopes Cabral, who moved to Portugal on a free transfer, had an outstanding six months, leading Amadora to sell him to Benfica Lisbon this January 2026 for a whopping six million euros.

It seems they’ve acquired a taste for it in Portugal. Following Tom Moustier (Rot-Weiss Essen)—previously, Leonardo Vonic (FC Porto B) had already moved to Portugal in January 2025—and Chilohem Onuoha (1. FC Köln, on loan to SC Verl), Max Scholze (SSV Ulm) is also set to join Amadora.

And now SSV Jahn Regensburg is also entering the picture. But this time it’s not Amadora, but Estrela’s league rival FC Alverca. According to Forecasting reports, the team currently ranked tenth in the Portuguese first division has offered a mid-six-figure transfer fee for Nicolas Oliveira. Regensburg turned down the offer, however, and Alverca will likely make a higher bid—just as Amadora did in the case of Moustier.

Right-back Oliveira has played 15 games (two goals, one assist) for Regensburg this season. He came up through the ranks at Hamburger SV and moved from HSV II to Regensburg in the summer of 2025.

And: Wiesbaden’s Ryan Johansson was also on the list of Moustier’s club, Amadora. But SV Wehen Wiesbaden, like Regensburg, rejected the six-figure offer from Portugal.

Glasgow Rangers want Ryan Naderi – for three million euros!

Scottish top-flight club Glasgow Rangers could be behind the most spectacular transfer of the winter. As reported by “Sky,” the Rangers have submitted an offer of three million euros for Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi. An agreement on a winter transfer has reportedly already been reached with the 22-year-old forward. Now it is up to Rostock to decide whether they want to accept the extremely lucrative offer for their most successful offensive player (eight goals, five assists).
