SV Schermbeck has become active on the transfer market shortly before the start of the Oberliga. A young striker is coming to SVS.
Before the start of the season in the Oberliga Westphalia, SV Schermbeck has become active on the transfer market another time. Dilhan Demir moves to SVS, the club announced on Thursday. “Welcome to the trough, Dilhan,” wrote the Schermbeck team to a post on Instagram.
The 20-year-old is a young striker. He comes from the second team of SC Paderborn, which celebrated promotion to the Regionalliga West in the past season. Demir made regular appearances in the promotion season, mostly from the bench. He scored one goal for SCP in 24 games.
His record at his previous station, TSG Sprockhövel, reads much better. In the final round of the 2021/22 season, Demir scored eight goals in ten appearances. He thus aroused the interest of Paderborn.
Now he is moving on to Schermbeck, where the attacker is the second new arrival from the SCP reserves after Samet Coskun. Demir could make his debut on Sunday, when the season kicks off. TuS Ennepetal will kick off the season in Schermbeck (3:30 p.m., RS live ticker). On the second matchday, it’s off to Westfalia Rhynern.
