Can Switzerland trip up the Brazilians?

After their 3-2 win over Ghana, Portugal will be looking to build on their good form against Uruguay. Fernando Santos’ side are top of Group H with three points, two ahead of Uruguay. Danilo Pereira is expected to miss the last two group games after the Paris Saint Germain midfielder broke three ribs in training. Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be in the starting eleven.

For Uruguay, Ronald Araujo is expected to miss out again, so the back four will consist of Caceres, Godin, Jose Gimenez and Mathias Olivera. Up front, Darwin Nunez is likely to feature, while Cavani or Suarez will be on the bench.

In the other Group H match, South Korea face Ghana, who are desperate to win after losing their opener.

Switzerland are training at the University of Doha ahead of their match against Brazil. Both teams lead the Group G table after winning their first group matches.

But the South Americans did not escape unscathed in their 2-0 win over Serbia. Neymar and Danilo will miss the match against the “Nati” due to ankle injuries.

But coach Tite still has a whole host of players at his disposal on the way to a sixth World Cup title – the first in 20 years.

In the Group G match, Cameroon and Serbia will fight to keep their hopes of reaching the last 16 alive at the Al-Janoub Stadium.
