Manchester City and Rasenballsport Leipzig will determine the next participant in the Champions League quarter-finals this evening. The reigning English champions have home advantage, though the 1-1 draw from the first leg is certainly no resting place. Manchester’s most important man is the Belgian Kevin De Bruyne – and he warns against the guests from Saxony.
De Bruyne warns against Rasenballsport Leipzig
“We have already met this opponent three times in the past two years. We already know what kind of team they are. It’s a very buoyant and high-quality team. It has that Red Bull principle of playing with a lot of players in the middle. The team is biting and knows how to make a game difficult. I think the team has a lot of quality,” said De Bruyne.
FC Porto and Inter Milan are also in contention for a place in the competition’s top eight. Inter won the first leg 1-0, Porto have home advantage but also the pressure of overcoming the deficit.
