District league team knocks out defending champions! Live ticker from the final day

The finals are taking place at the indoor city championships in Bochum. We report live from the Rundsporthalle.

2nd men’s semi-final: Concordia Wiemelhausen – FC Neuruhrort (2:3)

In the second semi-final, the defending champions, Westfalenliga team Concordia Wiemelhausen, and outsiders from the district league FC Neuruhrort will face each other.

Final whistle: The sensation is perfect, FC Neuruhrort manages to hold on to its lead against Concordia Wiemelhausen and advances to the final. The players celebrate their entry with loud chants. One thing is certain: Concordia cannot defend its title from last year!

1st men’s semi-final: DJK TuS Hordel – CSV SF Linden: 6:3

The final round of the 1st teams now begins. In the first semi-final, state league team DJK TuS Hordel and district league team CSV SF Linden will meet.

Final whistle: The first semi-final was won by the favorites. Hordel clinches a ticket to the final, while CSV SF Linden will contest the “small final” for third place.

11th minute: Linden does not give up. In the follow-up shot, the district league team can reduce the deficit to 6:3.

10th minute: The joy was short-lived – Hordel increases to 6:2

9th minute: Linden briefly breaks free and makes it 5:2.

15:53: The women’s semi-finals are over. While VfL Bochum gave FC Bochum no chance and won 8:0, there was a surprise in the second semi-final. District league team TuS Harpen prevailed 3:2 against SC Union Bergen.

15:22: In addition to the men’s 1st teams, the Bochum A-juniors, women’s teams and men’s reserve teams are also playing for their indoor titles today.
