Ex-Schalke and MSV talent from Ennepetal joins relegated team, Siegen ties up duo

TSG Sprockhövel are continuing to make plans for the Westfalenliga. A well-known player is now available in attacking midfield.

Oussama Anhari is just 23 years old, but his CV is already as long as that of many a 30-year-old. Now another club will join him, or more precisely his former club. The attacking midfielder is leaving TuS Ennepetal and joining TSG Sprockhövel.

Remarkable: Anhari, who played 17 Oberliga games for TuS last season (no goals), is joining TSG Sprockhövel in the Westfalenliga. The long-standing Oberliga club is facing relegation after finishing bottom of the table.

Anhari trained at Eintracht Dortmund before joining Borussia Dortmund’s youth team in the summer of 2012. A year later, he moved to FC Iserlohn. This was followed by the youth teams of Schalke 04 and MSV Duisburg before he moved from the Zebras’ U19s to the TSG Sprockhövel first team in the summer of 2020.

In the summer of 2020, he moved to SG Finnentrop-Bamenohl for a year and then to TuS Ennepetal. Anhari is now back at TSG Sprockhövel.

However, two talented players from Sportfreunde Siegen will definitely be staying in the Oberliga Westfalen. Hassan El-Chaabi and Justin Adozi have signed long-term senior contracts with the traditional club, as announced by SFS.

“With Hassan and Justin, we are getting two more very talented youngsters from our super youth team. I’m delighted that we will once again have two home-grown players from our forge,” said Siegen coach Thorsten Nehrbauer. “If they continue to absorb everything as intensively as they have so far, they can learn a lot from the coaching team and the experienced lads in the team and be a very good option for us.”

El Chaabi (18) is a 1.85-meter tall attacker who can play as a center forward, hanging point or ten. The 18-year-old Adozi is also a center forward, but at 1.90 meters he is a little taller.

“We are very happy that two of our boys have made the leap from the youth team to the first team again. The more players who make the leap, the greater the success of the entire club. We work tirelessly every day to achieve this. Hassan, who has already gone through several seasons at Sportfreunde, and Justin are highly talented,” said Siegen’s sporting director Luca D’Aloia.
