Update of the market values at the portal Transfermarkt.de: These are the winners and losers at Bundesliga club VfL Bochum.
VfL Bochum have played seven games in their second year since returning to the Bundesliga. It has been a turbulent season so far, sobering from a sporting point of view and marked by all kinds of hick-hacking behind the scenes. It is therefore the little things that are currently providing some joy at Castroper Straße. Erhan Masovic is now one of the positive surprises in the first weeks of the season. The defender, currently on an international trip with Serbia, saw his market value on the transfermarkt.de portal rise from 2.5 to 3.5 million euros. The centre-back had only celebrated his international debut against Slovenia (4:1) in June this year.
In the adjustment of market values published on Wednesday, a Bochum quintet is among the winners. Three other VfL professionals had to accept losses. The background: The interim update does not include the entire league, but this time a total of 120 professionals. The rest of the VfL pros are therefore at the same level as before the last major adjustment in June.
VfL Bochum: Striker Hofmann increases by half a million
In addition to Masovic, Philipp Hofmann, Jordi Osei-Tutu, Kevin Stöger and Mohammed Tolba were also among the winners. Striker Hofmann increased by 500,000 euros, rising from 2 to 2.5 million euros. Defender Osei-Tutu is now worth 1.5 million euros (instead of 1 million before). Midfielder Stöger rises by 400,000 euros to 2 million euros and 18-year-old defender Mohammed Tolba is now listed with a market value of 200,000 euros.
In contrast, Philipp Förster, Ivan Ordets and Lys Mousset have to accept losses in their market value. Midfielder Förster fell from 2.5 to 1.8 million euros. Defender Ordets from 5 to 3.5 million euros. And striker Mousset from 6 to 4 million euros. The Frenchman had been absent recently due to muscular problems.
