Alemannia Aachen wants to attack in the coming season. For this undertaking, the Kaiserstädter also want to sign some experienced regional league players.
It was just over a month ago, on 15 February, that Sascha Eller chose the following words to tell RevierSport: “The aim is to finish a good season and take the euphoria that has been sparked into the new season. Because one thing is clear: Next year we want to really attack!”
To achieve this goal, the managing director of Alemannia Aachen naturally wants to put together a good squad for his coach Helge Hohl.
Nils Winter is to be a cornerstone of this. According to information from RevierSport, the right-back is expected to undergo a medical check-up in Aachen this week and, if the examinations are successful, will move from Rot-Weiß Oberhausen to Alemannia in the summer. There have already been reports of Aachen’s interest in Winter.
For Winter, who is an absolute top performer in Oberhausen, it would be a return to the Tivoli. The Wolfsburg native came to Oberhausen from Sportvereinigung Elversberg in October 2020. Winter played 45 games for SVE (two goals, five assists).
Before his time in Saarland, the speedy winger, who trained with VfL Wolfsburg, was also under contract with Aachen. Winter made a total of 90 appearances (three goals, 21 assists) for Alemannia in his career. From 1 July 2023, he is expected to add more games on the Tivoli for Aachen.
