SG Wattenscheid presents two new shirt sponsors at once

The SG Wattenscheid has opted for an unusual solution when it comes to sponsorship: The premier league club has presented two new main sponsors.

After the departure of Immotec, the SG Wattenscheid was looking for a new main sponsor. Now, the traditional club from the Westphalian top division has been able to announce that it has found a new sponsor.

It has opted for an unusual solution: in future, the SGW will have two jersey sponsors. The logos of the Heinrichs Group and the company Pasternak Haushaltstechnik will adorn the Wattenscheid jerseys in the new season.

Both companies were already involved with the club. Now the partnerships have been extended. In doing so, Heinrichs Group will sponsor the home jersey, while Pasternak Haushaltstechnik’s lettering will be seen on the away jersey.

“We ultimately decided on multiple shoulders. This is perhaps unusual, but after good discussions with both companies, we decided to distribute the main sponsorship between the home and away jerseys,” explained Wattenscheid’s marketing director Stefan Beermann in this regard. “For us, this resulted in a special mathematical situation, because 1+1 is 3 in this case. In addition, we have two companies that are also rooted in the local area and know the club well.”
