The goal is clear—to reach the Regionalliga without dropping a single point

This is going to be tough for the Westfalenliga competition: The S04 women have big ambitions for the second half of the season as well. Jule Dallmann: “We want a perfect season!”

The 100th goal of the season for the Schalke women’s soccer team was particularly beautiful in their 6-0 (2-0) Westfalenliga victory over Billerbeck. In the last league match before the winter break, Jule Dallmann skillfully backheeled the ball at the edge of the penalty area, took a quick look, and then fired an unstoppable shot into the left corner.

For Boris Liebing, the head of women’s soccer at Schalke, Jule Dallmann’s special goal came as no surprise. Liebing attests that the midfielder, who had been sidelined by injury for a long time, “also possesses qualities as a goal-scorer.”

Jule Dallmann was delighted with her goal but remained true to her role as a modest, down-to-earth player. “I was out for a long time and couldn’t contribute much to the goals,” said the 27-year-old, noting: “With Mandy Islacker, we have a player who feels like she’s contributed half of the goals to this milestone. Mandy is a goal machine. She scores 50 goals a season on her own. But of course, I’m happy for the team as a whole that we’ve broken the 100-goal mark.”

Schalke Women Aim for Perfect Season After Strong First Half

Schalke’s women have set the standard this season, winning 13 games. Added to that are two walkover victories against Germania Hauenhorst and SV Oesbern. Both teams did not face the Royal Blues due to personnel issues. “We train all week for the weekend matches, so it’s really frustrating when games are canceled,” says the sister of national team player Linda Dallmann regarding the unwelcome breaks in October and November.

Jule Dallmann: “That would be something special”

Looking ahead to the second half of the season, which in the Women’s Westfalenliga doesn’t begin until mid-March 2026, Bundesliga veteran Jule Dallmann has already announced: “Our goal is to win every league match. We want to have a perfect season. That would be something special. But of course we also know how difficult that is. We’ll see if it works out.”

Schalke’s Jule Dallmann is confident: Competitive even in higher leagues Given the massive lead over the first non-promotion spot, there’s no way around Schalke’s promotion to the Regionalliga. “We have a very high-quality team. I’m convinced that we’d be absolutely competitive even one league higher,” says Jule Dallmann, who has picked up the pace again after her muscle tear and is therefore heading into the winter break with a heavy heart: “For me, the break comes at a bit of an inconvenient time. That makes me look forward all the more to the second half of the season, when I’ll be fully fit again and can really go on the attack.”
