Three new signings for the U23s – from Düren, Aachen and the north

The U23s of Fortuna Düsseldorf have announced three new signings. Four external signings have now been confirmed.

Fortuna Düsseldorf’s personnel planning for the U23 team has long since picked up speed. This week, the regional capital presented three new signings for its team from the Regionalliga West – meaning that four external signings have now been confirmed.

Leonard Brodersen, Noah Förster and Elias Egouli will line up for Fortuna from the coming season, who had already strengthened their squad with Marius Zentler from Oberliga side Sportfreunde Siegen.

Egouli comes from league rivals 1. FC Düren. The central defender measures an impressive 2.05 meters and is one of FCD’s key players. He has made 30 appearances so far.

“With the signing of Elias, we were able to realize an absolute dream transfer. We put a lot of effort into him and are all the happier that he has decided to join us,” emphasized Stefan Vollmerhausen, Sporting Director of the youth academy. “He has shown strong athletic development this season, which we now want to drive forward together. With his qualities, he can immediately play an important role in the team. “

Brodersen also strengthens the Düsseldorf defense. The 20-year-old joins from northern regional league side Teutonia Ottensen. The former Holstein Kiel youth player previously spent six months in the Japanese second division.

Förster is also a defender. He wants to take his first steps in senior football on the Rhine. The 19-year-old has previously played for Alemannia Aachen’s U19s and has also made two brief appearances for the professionals of this year’s Regionalliga promoted team.

“With Leonard and Noah, we have been able to sign two exciting defensive players who fit our requirements profile very well. Leonard has already gained a lot of experience in his career to date despite his young age, while Noah has all the prerequisites to immediately gain a foothold in senior soccer with us. We are delighted that we have been able to convince both of them to move to Flinger Broich,” emphasizes Vollmerhausen.
