Two talents will leave ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen in the summer. They will switch to the second-placed team in the Landesliga Niederrhein 3.
Sportfreunde Niederwenigern have made the first two new arrivals for the coming season official.
The “Wennische” struck twice with ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen and signed two talents from the upper league team in the neighbouring city. Ole Nissen and Robin Duesmann will play for SFN in the coming season. The two youngsters currently play for ETB’s U19 team in the championship round of the A-Junioren Niederrheinliga.
Nissen will even captain the young players of the Black and Whites on the field. The Sportfreunde say that he has convinced the management with his clear ideas and good character.
And Nissen himself says: “If someone had told me at the beginning of the season that I would be moving to Niederwenigern, I would have said they were crazy. But when I went there for the first time, it was clear to me on the way home that SFN was the right club for me. The concept and the human touch convinced me straight away. “
The defensive player Duesmann, who is also tall, expressed a similar opinion. “After the first conversation, it was clear to me relatively quickly that I simply wanted to play for SFN. The coaching team quickly got me excited about the club and the team and completely convinced me with their concept. I’m confident that I’ll be able to successfully make the transition to the men’s side and develop personally.”
However, it is still open in which league the talents will make their debut for Niederwenigern. The Sportfreunde do not want to force their way back into the Oberliga, but are still in the race for first place as the runners-up in the Landesliga Niederrhein 3 with a three-point gap.
